Day 1: Arrival at Phnom Penh
Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel in the city for check-in (room may not be ready until the afternoon). In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Phnom Penh city tour
In the morning, visit: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), the notorious “Killing Fields” of ChoeungEk. Have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit: Central Market (PsarThmei), Wat Phnom, the legendary temple that marked the founding place of the Phnom Penh. spend your restful night at hotel.
Day 3: Phnom Penh-Oudong
Your day starts at 8 am, we’ll visit Phnom Oudong, which is about 40 kilometers northwest of Phnom Penh along National Route 5, a mountain topped with the spires stoop from the plains like a fairytale castle. This is Phnom Oudong, at one time an ancient capital. As the capital, it was called Oudong Meanchey; Oudong means noble or excellent, and Meanchey means victory.
Then we will visit two relatively unknown but spectacular sights called Wat Prasath and Basith Temple, all within Kandal Province. Kandal Province which is central to Cambodia and surrounds the Whole of Phnom Penh, its capital is Ta Khmau and contains Udong, the former capital of the country. We’ll visit a family of Silver Smiths that mold and shape Cambodian Silver.
