Morning tour:
Your tour starts at 9:00 am to visit one of the biggest flooded communities in Siem Reap called Kompong Khleang and floating villages. This place is located on the northern bank of Tonle Sap lake, around 55 km east of Siem Reap town. On the way to explore that community, we ‘ll see the local people are selling Bamboo rice cakes along the national road 6. Taking the boat ride through the villages we ‘ll see fishermen are going fishing in the rainy season. But the dry season, we’ll also see just how local houses tower 10 meters above the ground, or and we can walk around seeing some farmers are growing vegetables and cash crops there. After that, break lunchtime.
Lastly, processing to visit Beng Mealea or Jungle Temple, about 60 kilometers from Siem Reap town. It is a huge temple, surrounded and partly overgrown by the jungle near the foot of Phnom Kulen National Park. The temple was built out of largely blue sandstone adorned with both Hindu and Buddhist depictions. Along the way that we are going to visit that that temple well will see some activities of Khmer people making a living these days. We should not miss seeing this temple beside Angkor region.
